US Secretary of State to travel to Jordan Wednesday

- Rome, March 25 - United States Secretary of State John Kerry
arrived in Rome for a flying visit on Tuesday. Kerry landed at 18:20
local time at the capital's Ciampino airport, where he was greeted by
the US ambassadors to Italy, to the Holy See and to the Rome-based
United Nations food agencies.
He had taken a special flight from The Hague, where he attended a summit at which Russia was suspended from the G8. Kerry will travel to Amman in Jordan on Wednesday and he will meet Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian national authority, the State Department said.
