Crimea releases Ukrainian Navy admiral




(AGI) Moscow, March 20 - Crimean authorities have released the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Rear Admiral Sergey Haiduk.
The admiral was captured Wednesday morning after he negotiated clearing the Sevastopol headquarters with the head of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea, Admiral Alexander Vitko, reported Crimean press agency Criminfor, quoting a Ukrainian MP, Andrei Senchenko. Haiduk was released along with seven other people close to a check-point in Chongar, near the border with continental Ukraine.
