But income tax cuts equal to 80 euros per month
(ANSA)
- Rome, March 25 - Labour Minister Giuliano Poletti on Tuesday said
that Italian employees will not receive a bonus on their paychecks as
part of a package of labor reforms, but they should expect fewer
taxes. Speaking to Italy's Radio Capital, Poletti said reports to the
contrary were based on media speculation. However workers could still
look forward to a previously announced government plan to cut
personal income taxes by more than 1,000 euros per year, or about 80
euros monthly, directly affecting the paychecks of workers earning
less than 1,500 euros per month. The measure would cover 10 million
people.
